MICHAEL M. KOSTOV, PRODUCER / DIRECTOR:  At the age of 19, and on a $50 bet, I started my career at the number one Rock n Roll radio station in Cleveland. I produced and syndicated numerous radio specials, including Elvis Presley and John Lennon tributes after their untimely deaths. I've also had the privilege of interviewing countless legends like Chicago, Stanley Kramer, and Michael Jackson. I engineered the interview session with Jimmy Hoffa, days before he "disappeared." That was an experience! A few years later Golden West  Broadcasters (GWB) brought me on to start a production company in Seattle. I developed the business plan, the brand, but after two-years of "we're looking into it" but no forward movement, I left GWB and started my own production company.
My longevity in the industry comes from always focusing first on my client; listening, understanding and then developing the creative that will get them the results they’re looking for – regardless of budget. In 2004 Kostov Productions moved to a 43-acre ranch 30 minutes east to Seattle. With a combination of nature and high tech, our clients love working here.
As an award-winning film and video producer I’ve produced and directed over 750 campaigns for large and small organizations, nonprofits and companies like Starbucks, T-Mobile, Red Robin, HTC, Sleep Country Canada, and PACCAR to name a few.
I’m the recipient of 50+ regional, national and international awards including seven Telly Awards, the L.A. Film Festival, International Television Association Emerald Awards, American Association of Port Authorities, Washington Press Association, Public Relations Society of America, International Association of Business Communicators, Health Sciences Communications Association, International Festivals Competition, to name a few. But with me, it's not about awards, it's about getting results for my client.
